Transform Your Classroom with Arts Integration
The power of the arts can transform any classroom from a Math class or a Language Arts class to anything in-between. Arts integration is an approach to teaching and learning through which content standards are taught and assessed equitably in and through the arts. As a veteran classroom teacher and a Teaching Artist, Aaron Fowler will help stir up the imagination of teachers to think about how they can use a variety of art strategies to make their classroom more inviting and fun. This one-hour professional development session will explore different ways of bringing both the performing arts and visual arts into the classroom.

Aaron Fowler
Aaron Fowler draws from 12 years as a public school teacher working at both the elementary and middle school level and more than two decades as a songwriter and educational consultant. Aaron is one of sixteen Nationally Credentialed Teaching Artists with Young Audiences.
Aaron also performs for Arts Partners in the duo “Adventures in Story and Song” and is a Kansas Wolf Trap and Baby Artsplay artist.
