Classroom Adventures
We’ll come to you for a STEAM Career Fair for elementary-age students. We provide twenty STEAM stations each with enough supplies for two to four students to stay engaged at the same time; Zoo Education staff to orient teachers and volunteers one hour before the program and assist with the event for up to two hours; an optional Careers Program at the end of the event that allows you to gather everyone to a central location. You’ll provide one volunteer or teacher per station and space to run each station. A commons area may be used but we recommend spreading stations throughout the school. The program fee of $250 includes one hour of set up and two hours of discovery.

Arts Opportunities
While there are not pure art programs for school groups, the Zoo is an excellent site for creative writing, photography, sketching, and painting.
Sculpture and Landscapes
The Zoo has a growing collection of realistic animal sculptures placed throughout the grounds. Landscape architecture and horticulture are other prime areas for observation and study.
