Backing, mistifuse, some muslin or limited color 100% cotton fabric, and metal provided. Student must have protective eye wear. Some preplanning of art piece is encouraged. $5 per student for supplies

Malissa Long has helped lead Generation STEAM, is the Textile Lead at MakeICT, and is a current member of The Arts Council of Wichita. She has a variety of sewing experience with both children and adults. She loves to explore the bounds of her sewing machine and has used her sewing machine to create art to wearables with zippers and almost anything you can imagine in between.
