Intro to Improv

_________________________________________________________________________________________

In this highly engaging workshop, students will be introduced to improvisational theatre through games on a progression of improvisational skills. Students have so much fun, they don’t realize they are building self-confidence, appreciating diversity in others, and are learning to communicate in a positive way with their peers. Students will use creative expression, visualization, word choice, speaking and listening skills, and theatre skills to effectively communicate with others and create stories together as a group.

Improvisation Station

We are an improvisation theatre team, which means we perform unscripted scenes that we make up on the spot. We put on performances where our team plays improv games for an audience, and we host workshops where we teach improv to interested parties.
Objective: Improvisation is all about opening the imagination and not being afraid to share your creative energy with everyone around you. Our goal is to share improv with as many people as possible.
