AFRICAN AMERICAN HEROES
This is a mini lesson, performance or workshop that will explore our American history and heroes through songs and stories. Students will be engaged in singing and instrument playing activities as they tell stories about these heroes and their journey to freedom and recognition.
This program can be presented in a 45 minute workshop or developed for a 1-3 day workshop or performance for 4th-8th grade. It will be adapted according the grade level.
