School Field Trips

Tours should be arranged no less than two weeks in advance.

Neighborhood Branch Tours: Tour of Angelou Northeast, Linwood or Orchard Branch Library. (15-30 minutes)

Neighborhood Branch Tours with Storytime: Tour of Angelou Northeast, Linwood or Orchard Branch Library with storytime. (30-45 minutes)

Other Branch Tours: The following branches offer special field trip and tour opportunities for elementary, middle and high school field trips. Please contact each library directly.

Central Library Tours: For pre-K and elementary school tours, contact the Children’s Room at 261-8512. Visits to the Central Library Children’s Center may be scheduled for groups of seven or more. Preschool to third grade groups receive a tour of the Children’s Center and storytime. A tour and storytime will take 30-45 minutes. Groups are limited to one visit in the fall (Sept to Dec) and one in the spring (Jan to May).
