Imaginary MenagerieParticipants will create an imaginary animal. Striking a balance between fanciful and plausible, participants will establish a reality for their animal including taxonomy/biological classification (class, order, and species), characteristics, diet, and habitat (biome). Students will contemplate the animal kingdom on Earth, environment and habitats, specializations, food-chains, and interdependence.
What is your animal's body shape/type? Markings, colors?
What is your animal's position in the food chain? Is it endangered?
