Dramatizing Character Adventures (K-5th grade)Using a variety of art forms, this 4-part workshop begins with a folktale told by Amy, which the students brainstorm into a new version. In session 2, the students work with Aaron to shape that story into a song. In session 3, Aaron leads the class in dramatizing the story through movement and character development. In session 4, Amy helps students use hand puppets to perform the story. The story used can focus on a specific character trait or reinforce other classroom curriculum being studied.
