Guided Tours

(1 1/2 - 2 hours in length) Our guided tours include our museum, which is filled with wonderful American Indian art and artifacts that tell the story of America's first inhabitants from their beginnings to today. Tours also include our hands-on educational displays that provide an exciting learning experience for kids of all ages. Finally, a tour includes our Gallery of Nations that has over 70 flags from American Indian Nations, a totem pole, and Choc the Rain God (a serpent statue from our sister city Cannon, Mexico). During the warmer months, tours also include our outdoors Plains Indian Encampment that houses an Arbor, Tipi, Drying Rack and our OWLS garden site.

If you have some extra time, you can also include a Self-guided tour of the 40ft tall Keeper of the Plains statue, which has become the iconic symbol of Wichita and stands just outside our back gates. "The Keeper" has one of the most unique interactive plazas around.

For all group tours we require confirmation at least two weeks prior to your visit.
